THE WEDDING CAKE PROCESS
INITIAL CONSULTATION
You reach out to us and tell us about your big day, and what you're hoping for. We schedule an appointment for a consultation.
TASTE TESTING
During our consultation you'll try several different flavors of cake and fillings (if you'd like), determine the amount of tiers if applicable, give basic ideas on the design of the cake, and let us know more about your wedding day plans.
PLANNING AND COORDINATION
After our tasting, the planning is far from over. During the coming weeks and months we'll be in correspondence, planning the actual design of the cake itself, gathering inspiration and planning our part of the night.
THE BAKING PROCESS
This is what we do best! We take our baking expertise and create each component of your wedding cake according to the custom specifications discussed. When it gets close to the delivery date, the decorating begins, and the final touches aren't added until the cake is at the venue.
LOGISTICS AND DELIVERY
This is the toughest part of every wedding cake. There is only one, so delivering it safely and properly is of the utmost importance. The construction of the cake aids this process as well. Once the cake arrives, we carefully cart it over to the venue's designated spot. After that, the final touches are applied, and your cake-cutting moment is ready!
